Mixed-effect modelling of Tectona grandis L.f. yield at stand-level
Southern Forests: a Journal of Forest ScienceThe prediction of volume from commercial plantations is essential to manage Tectona grandis L.f. stands. However, the assumptions of regression, especially homoscedasticity and residual independence, are often ignored when fitting longitudinal regression

Isozyme variation among teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) provenances
Theoretical and Applied Genetics, 1995Fourteen enzyme systems were analysed in leaf parenchyma of nine native and introduced populations of teak. These enzyme systems were encoded by 20 putative loci of which 18 were polymorphic. Populations showed a general lack of heterozygosity (average FIS = 0.11).

Clonal Variation for Loranthus infestation in Teak (Tectona grandis L.f.)
Indian Journal of Forestry, 2011Dendrophthoe falcata var. pubescens, commonly known as Loranthus is one of the important epiphytic parasites of Teak plantations, which can cause substantial economic losses. It is generally observed that certain clones harbour a higher number of Loranthus than others.

The inherent durability of wood is crucial for its performance, particularly against biodegrading agents like termites. However, the role of extractives in contributing to this durability remains underexplored for many tropical species.

GAMLSS Modeling on stem taper of Tectona grandis L.f

Growth and yield of teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) under irrigated condition
Indian Journal of Forestry, 1997A study was carried out at the Forest College and Research Institute (Tamil Nadu) to elicit information on the growth and yield of teak (Tectona grandis L.f.) under irrigated condition. The oldest (11 year) available irrigated teak had a mean volume of 0.109 m3 (3.85 ft3) tree1 with a Mean annual Volume Increment (MAI) of 0.0099 m3 tree1.

Teak (Tectona Grandis L.f.) root trainer nurseries: Diseases and their management
Indian Journal of Forestry, 2010Introduction of root trainer technology for raising Teak planting stock has had a major impact on seedling production system as well as nursery and plantation management as a whole. Even though, the new technology offers various advantages over the conventional nursery techniques, there is a paucity of data on status of seedling health in root trainers.

Grouping of Tectona grandis (L.f.) clones using wood color and stiffness
New Forests, 2011Commercial Tectona grandis plantations using clones have attracted considerable interest for lumber production in tropical regions where small areas are frequent. However, studies on wood properties are limited. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to group clones with similar wood color characteristics using the CIELab system, and mechanical ...
