Prognostic value of tissue Doppler Tei index after experimental myocardial infarction
Background: It has been reported that tissue Doppler imaging (TDI) derived Tei index, defined as the sum of isovolumetric contraction and relaxation time divided by ejection time, is a valuable tool in assessing combined systolic and diastolic function ...

Bayesian Optimization of Solvent‐Free Thermal Amidation via Reactive Extrusion
Thermal amidation between a carboxylic acid and an amine was successfully conducted in an extruder in the absence of solvent, coupling agent, or catalyst, relying on an adapted Bayesian Optimization protocol. Active pharmaceutical ingredient moclobemide was synthesized on a larger scale, achieving excellent yield and low Process Mass Intensity (PMI ...

Moiré band engineering in graphene/hexagonal boron nitride–based superlattices unlocks van Hove singularities (VHSs) for terahertz (THz) optoelectronics. Tuning the Fermi level near these singularities, associated with secondary neutrality points (SNPs), enhances the photothermoelectric response.

Breathing‐Induced Airflow Measurements at Multiple Positions in a 3D‐Printed Nasal Cavity
This study presents a novel experimental approach for measuring localized nasal airflow dynamics using person‐specific 3D‐printed models. By integrating miniature pressure differential sensors into precise anatomical replicas, we achieve site‐specific measurements that overcome the limitations of conventional rhinomanometry.

Abstract The emergence of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is reshaping the research landscape and carries significant implications for Digital Humanities (DH), a field long intertwined with computational methods and technologies. This study examines how DH scholars are adopting and critically evaluating GenAI in their research. Drawing on an

Tei index in neonatal respiratory distress and perinatal asphyxia
Cardiovascular compromise is a common complication of neonatal respiratory distress and perinatal asphyxia. Tei index is a Doppler-derived index for the assessment of overall left ventricular function that combines systolic and diastolic time intervals ...

Novel Pt catalysts supported on zeolitic silicoaluminophosphate efficiently promoted the hydrogenative conversion of furoic acid to δ‐valerolactone under mild conditions. High activity arose from finely dispersed Pt nanoparticles stabilized by the porous support. Mechanistic studies indicated site‐selective partial hydrogenation followed by Csp²–O bond
