Advanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.In this study, the pronounced anisotropy in the optical properties of β‐Ga2O3 nanomembranes has been analized under a synchrotron nanoprobe. We have investigated the site‐specific contributions of distint Ga ions to the emission bands by combining polarization‐dependent X‐ray absorption near‐edge structure and X‐ray excited luminescence.
