Atomic Layer Deposition‐Modified Bifunctional Electrocatalysts for Rechargeable Zinc‐Air Batteries: Boosting Activity and Cycle Life

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The transition metal oxide is precisely deposited on the catalyst surface via atomic layer deposition (ALD), forming a protective layer with catalytic activity. Electrochemical experiments, theoretical calculations, and in situ X‐ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) battery testing collectively demonstrate that the modified transition metal oxide ...

Rapid Electrochemical Synthesis and Solvatochromic Emission Behavior of Single Crystals of a Heteronuclear Platinum(II)‐Copper(I) Complex

open access: yesAggregate, EarlyView.
A novel electrochemical approach achieves an ultrafast synthesis of a platinum(II)‐copper(I) heterometallic complex with voltage‐controlled morphologies, yielding analyzable single crystals in 30 s. These crystals exhibit striking solvatochromic and tunable luminescence, making them promising candidates for anti‐counterfeiting applications. ABSTRACT In
