Productivity Measurement With Big Data: A Data‐Driven Approach Capturing Firm Heterogeneity
ABSTRACT We develop a new method for estimating production frontiers that allows the identification of sources of firm productivity variability. Our novel approach enhances the understanding of productivity growth and its sources, and the role of firm dynamics on growth.

Papua New Guinea's Public Services Commission since independence: Sidelined or strengthened?
Abstract This paper investigates reforms to the Public Services Commission (PSC) in Papua New Guinea (PNG) since independence in 1975. It looks at the original role of the PSC and then the various reforms it has been subject to: in 1986, 2003, and 2013, by constitutional and legislative change, and in 2019, by court ruling.

Abstract This paper examines how China's infrastructure investment influences African exports to China. We analyse data from 46 African countries and 14 industries that have received China's infrastructure investment from 2005 to 2019. Our results show that China's infrastructure investment in the primary sector has led to more African exports to China
