The Teleomorph ofCristulariella Moricola
Mycologia, 1983The teleomorph of Cristulariella moricola, a leaf spotting fungus, is described as a new genus and species, Grovesinia pyramidalis. It was produced in vitro after a cold treatment of 4-6 months at 4 C and subsequent incubation at 15 C and a 14-h photoperiod. Mycelial inoculations using a culture of ascospore origin produced typical bull's-eye or zonate

Kuraishia MolischianaSp. Nov., the Teleomorph of Candida Molischiana
Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, 2005Thirty-two strains, many of them isolated from wood-associated habitats, and designated as Kuraishia (Pichia) capsulata and Candida molischiana according to their phenotype, exhibited two types of HaeIII restriction fragment patterns of their small subunit rDNA with the neighboring ITS. One fragment pattern corresponded to that of the type strain of K.

Glomerella truncata sp. nov., the teleomorph of Colletotrichum truncatum
Mycological Research, 2006Anthracnose of lentil, caused by Colletotrichum truncatum is a serious threat to lentil (Lens culinaris) grown in western Canada. The teleomorph stage of this pathogen was induced to form under laboratory conditions. Random pairing of single conidium isolates enabled the identification of fertile isolates.

Hypocrea lixii, the teleomorph of Trichoderma harzianum
Mycological Progress, 2002Cultures derived from ascospores of Hypocrea lixii (= H. nigricans, H. lentiformis) produced the morphological species Trichoderma harzianum in pure culture. Trichoderma harzianum, the most commonly found species of the genus, is also one of the most species frequently used in biocontrol of plant pathogens.

Genomes and Form: The Case for Teleomorphic Recursivity
Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, 2000Abstract:The genotype‐phenotype (genome‐form) distinction is considered by many to be fundamental to modern evolutionary thinking. Indeed, the premises that: DNA solely constitutes the genotype; that the phenotype is a transient product of the genotype, with the latter not only describing, but also implementing the construction of the former; and that ...

Ceratobasidium cereale sp.nov., the teleomorph of Rhizoctonia cerealis
Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1984The anamorphic stage of two isolates of Corticium gramineum was identified as belonging in Ceratobasidium hyphal anastomosis group CAG1 and was found to fit the species concept of Rhizoctonia cerealis , the cause of sharp eyespot of cereals. One isolate of Co. gramineum and a CAG1 tester strain of R.
