Design and Analysis of MoTe2‐Based Efficient Photonic Devices for the Solar Cell and Photodetector Applications

MoTe2‐based n‐CdS/p‐MoTe2/p+‐CGS heterojunction device has been designed for solar cell and photodetector (PD) applications. Through numerical optimization, the proposed structure achieves improved performance, with η = 32.92%, R = 0.74 A/W, and D* = 2.36 × 1016 Jones at 1000 nm.
