Immediate Remote Common Femoral Artery Rupture After Vascular Closure Device Deployment

ABSTRACT Vascular closure devices may cause life‐threatening femoral artery rupture remote from the puncture site. Sudden hemodynamic instability after device deployment should prompt immediate evaluation for proximal arterial injury, even when femoral access appears technically successful.
