Temperature effects on the light current-voltage characteristics of the heterojunction solar cells fabricated on gallium-doped silicon substrates

open access: yesSt. Petersburg Polytechnical University Journal: Physics and Mathematics
In this study, the impacts of temperature on the light current-voltage characteristics of heterojunction solar cells fabricated on gallium-doped crystalline p-type silicon (c-Si) has been studied under air mass zero spectrum (136.7 mW/сm²) in the ...

Design of a novel bandgap reference

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong, 2018
Based on the traditional first-order compensation bandgap reference analysis, this paper proposes a novel high-order compensation technique and uses this technique to design a curvature compensation voltage reference with a low temperature coefficient ...

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

Study on the temperature dependence of BGO light yield

open access: yes, 2014
The temperature dependence of BGO coupled with photomultiplier tube R5610A-01 was studied in the range of -30{\deg}C~30{\deg}C. The temperature coefficient of the BGO and R5610A in whole was tested to be -1.82%.

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Nanogranular Strontium Ferromolybdate/Strontium Molybdate Ceramics—A Magnetic Material Possessing a Natural Core-Shell Structure

open access: yesElectronic Materials
In this work, we demonstrate the preparation of easy-to-fabricate nanogranular strontium ferromolybdate/strontium molybdate core-shell ceramics and examine their properties, including tunnel magnetoresistance, magnetic field sensitivity, and temperature ...

Density fluctuations from warm inflation

open access: yes, 2009
Thermal fluctuations provide the main source of large scale density perturbations in warm inflationary models of the early universe. For the first time, general results are obtained for the power spectrum in the case when the friction coefficient in the ...

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...

Some Aspects of Hot Carrier Photocurrent across GaAs p-n Junction

open access: yesInorganics
The photocurrent across crystalline GaAs p-n junction induced by Nd:YAG laser radiation was investigated experimentally. It is established that the displacement current is dominant at reverse and low forward bias voltages in the case of pulsed excitation.
