Low-temperature stability of quasicrystals

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1996
Abstract We discuss classical lattice-gas models without periodic ground states. To prove the thermodynamic stability of such systems we have to construct nonperiodic equilibrium states which are small perturbations of ground states. We review partial results in this direction and discuss possibilities of constructing a model with nonperiodic ...

Temperature stabilization of transistor amplifiers

Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, Part I: Communication and Electronics, 1956
A novel method of analysis of the thermal behavior of transistor amplifiers is developed by introducing the temperature incremental equations of the transistor and of its associated d-c network. Design formulas for prescribed thermal stability, and in particular for the case of thermistor compensation, are derived.

Qubit Stabilization Under Higher Temperatures

Qubit instability remains the single greatest barrier to practical quantum computing, as fragile states collapse within microseconds despite cryogenic cooling and error correction. The Balance Principle (BP) reframes this problem by treating decoherence not simply as random noise but as a form of imbalance that systems naturally seek to resolve.
