Otobone®: Three-dimensional printed Temporal Bone Biomodel for Simulation of Surgical Procedures
Introduction The anatomy of the temporal bone is complex due to the large number of structures and functions grouped in this small bone space, which do not exist in any other region in the human body. With the difficulty of obtaining anatomical parts and

Exosomes can reduce tissue damage in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA), but rapid clearance limits their efficacy. This study encapsulates exosomes in hyaluronic acid hydrogels for controlled release. In a rat model, hydrogel‐encapsulated exosomes outperform free exosomes in preserving bone integrity and reducing tissue destruction ...

WARN: an R package for quantitative reconstruction of weaning ages in archaeological populations using bone collagen nitrogen isotope ratios [PDF]
Nitrogen isotope analysis of bone collagen has been used to reconstruct the breastfeeding practices of archaeological human populations. However, weaning ages have been estimated subjectively because of a lack of both information on subadult bone collagen turnover rates and appropriate analytical models.

This study presents a custom‐made soft pneumatic device (SPD) that mimics complex mechanical forces and fluid flow to enhance in vitro cell differentiation. It shows that low mechanotransduction promotes MSC differentiation into osteoprogenitor cells, while high mechanotransduction causes structural disruptions and cell detachment, providing new ...
