Multiecho Fat‐Water Spiral MR Elastography With Distributed Encoding for Simultaneously Imaging Brain and Skull Displacement

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To introduce a novel multiecho, multishot spiral MR elastography (MRE) sequence to image brain and skull displacement simultaneously using a joint fat‐water image reconstruction and distributed motion encoding. Methods Multiple echo times were implemented into a high‐resolution multishot spiral MRE sequence to capture water‐based brain

Collaborative Reconstruction of PROPELLER‐EPI Data Using POCSMUSE (CORPUSE) for High‐Fidelity Diffusion MRI

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a reconstruction framework for DW‐PROPELLER‐EPI that improves image quality and SNR efficiency under per‐blade acceleration while minimizing EPI‐related artifacts, enabling high‐resolution diffusion‐tensor imaging (DTI) with fewer blades.

Integrating spatial modeling-assisted InSAR phase unwrapping with temporal analysis for advanced mine subsidence time series mapping

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Earth Observations and Geoinformation
This study introduces an alternate spatial-temporal modeling-assisted InSAR time-series analysis method for mine subsidence mapping, aiming to address the large deformation gradients and decorrelation issues.

A novel 3D measurement technique for rigid moving objects with a determined movement trajectory and constant movement speed

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2019
When phase-shifting (PS) and temporal-phase-unwrapping algorithms are employed for three-dimensional (3D) shape measurement, the measured object must be kept static during the projection and acquisition.

The TanDEM-X DEM Mosaicking: Fusion of Multiple Acquisitions Using InSAR Quality Parameters

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2016
Since 2010, TanDEM-X and its twin satellite TerraSAR-X fly in a close orbit formation and form a single-pass synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometer.

Simultaneous T2, T2*, and R2′ Mapping for Multiple Sclerosis Using Nonlinear Model‐Based Reconstruction of Undersampled Radial RARE‐EPI MRI

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To demonstrate the synergy of undersampled radial 2in1‐RARE‐EPI acquisition and nonlinear model‐based reconstruction for accelerated and simultaneous T2, T2*, and R2′ mapping in brains of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Methods 2in1‐RARE‐EPI combines a RARE module with an EPI module to capture T2 and T2* information.

Phase coupling between eye and brain pulsations is bidirectional and modulated by the parasympathetic system – An fMREye study

open access: yesActa Ophthalmologica, EarlyView.
Abstract Purpose Physiological pulsations driven by cardiac, respiratory, and vasomotor activity are essential for solute transport within perivascular and perineural cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pathways that support brain and eye clearance systems. Previous studies have shown that parasympathetic blockade significantly reduces ocular pulsation power and

InSAR Detection of Slow Ground Deformation: Taking Advantage of Sentinel-1 Time Series Length in Reducing Error Sources

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Using interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) to observe slow ground deformation can be challenging due to many sources of error, with tropospheric phase delay and unwrapping errors being the most significant.

Opening the black box: in situ imaging of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal structures in soil using synchrotron‐based micro‐CT

open access: yesNew Phytologist, EarlyView.
Summary Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) contribute to plant nutrient and water uptake via their extraradical hyphal networks. However, in situ methodologies to quantify architectural and morphological traits of these networks in soil are largely lacking, limiting our understanding of AMF‐mediated resource transport.
