MASS SHOOT PROLIFERATION OF PISTACIA KHINJUK STOCKS USING TEMPORARY IMMERSION BIOREACTOR SYSTEM (TIS)

open access: yesActa Horticulturae, 2014
A temporary immersion bioreactor system (TIS), compared to semi-solid systems has many advantages such as (1) the system can be controlled by an automation system; (2) a greater number of explants could be used at the same time and (3) there is no need to use an organic gelling agent.

PRODUCTION OF MICROSHOOT USING THE TEMPORARY IMMERSION SYSTEM (TIS) IN POTATO CULTIVARS

SABRAO Journal of Breeding and Genetics, 2023
The Temporary Immersion System (TIS) Bioreactor’s performance in cultivation for several commercial potato cultivars became the prevailing study’s review focus. The experiment in a split-plot design had two factors. The first factor comprised the type of culture system (conventional and TIS Bioreactor) treatment used as main plots.

Plant regeneration via somatic embryogenesis of Camptotheca acuminata in temporary immersion system (TIS)

Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture, 2008
The present study describes a protocol for plant regeneration via somatic embryogenesis in temporary immersion system (TIS) for Camptotheca acuminata. Somatic embryos were induced by culturing hypocotyl segments from 14-day-old in vitro grown C. acuminata seedlings in TIS.

MICROPROPAGATION OF THE APPLE ROOTSTOCK M26 BY TEMPORARY IMMERSION SYSTEM (TIS)

Acta Horticulturae, 2003
In order to develop an efficient and economic micropropagation technique for fruit trees and ornamental plants, a liquid culturing system in the RITA containers using temporary immersion principle was examined on the apple rootstock M26. Several plant growth regulators were tested in the multiplication and elongation phase on two different types of ...
