Histone H3K9 methylation is involved intemporomandibular joint osteoarthritis
The morbidity of temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA) increases with age. Condylar articular cartilage degradation, which causes TMJOA, is known to be involved in articular chondrocyte metabolic imbalances in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and in other joints of the body.
