Lateral Extra‐articular Tenodesis Utilizing Modified Ellison Technique With Knotless Anchor Fixation
Abstract Lateral extra‐articular tenodesis (LET) to augment anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction significantly reduces graft failure rates. Although there are many techniques for lateral extra‐articular tenodesis, the modified Ellison technique provides numerous advantages as a distally fixed construct, including dynamic rotational stability ...

Abstract Long head of the biceps tendon pathology is a frequent cause of anterior shoulder pain. Tenotomy is technically simple but may lead to cosmetic deformity and muscle cramping, whereas tenodesis better preserves the biceps contour but involves a more complex procedure. Multiple surgical techniques and fixation methods are available.

Evaluation of Biceps Tenotomy or Tenodesis on Fatty Infiltration of the Biceps Muscle
Objective The objective of the present study was to determine whether there is fatty infiltration (FI) of the biceps brachii muscle mass after tenotomy or tenodesis for the treatment of tendon injuries in the long head of the biceps and to establish a ...

Tensionable Knotless Tendon‐Sparing Biceps Rerouting Technique for Irreparable Rotator Cuff Tears
Abstract This technique describes a tensionable knotless tendon‐sparing biceps rerouting for superior capsular reconstruction using the long head of the biceps in irreparable supraspinatus tears. The long head of the biceps is arthroscopically released from the bicipital groove, rerouted over the greater tuberosity footprint, and secured with 2 self ...

Subpectoral Biceps Tenodesis: All-Suture Anchor Onlay Technique
Surgical management for biceps pathologies has advanced to provide stronger fixation and to be less invasive. The long head of the biceps tendon has been recognized as a common contributor to anterior shoulder pain and is often associated with other ...

Biceps‐Augmented Reverse Remplissage for Filling of Reverse Hill‐Sachs Defects
Abstract Reverse Hill‐Sachs lesions pose a complex challenge in the management of posterior shoulder dislocations. These lesions complicate surgical management as a result of their association with recurrent instability and further joint destruction.
