Intramuscular Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor, Diffuse-Type [PDF]
Tenosynovial giant cell tumors (TSGCT), a group of tumors that originate in tendon sheaths, joints, bursae, or adjacent soft tissue, were first described in 1941 by Jaffe et al. [1]. Diffuse-type TSGCT are known to be located in the periarticular soft tissue, while pure intramuscular tumors are rare.

Fat‐Containing Soft Tissue Lesions of the Limbs and Body Wall—A Pictorial Essay
ABSTRACT Lipomatous tumours are frequently encountered on imaging. The spectrum of lipomatous tumours ranges from simple lipomas, which can be monitored clinically, to high‐grade liposarcomas, which require timely, multidisciplinary management. The presence of fat within lesions may also be observed in non‐lipomatous tumours, as well as in a variety of

UTMD Suppresses CSF‐1 to Drive Macrophage‐Mediated Ferroptosis in Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma
ABSTRACT The tumor microenvironment (TME) of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma (PTC), particularly the role of tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs), contributes to therapeutic resistance. This study investigated whether ultrasound‐targeted microbubble destruction (UTMD), a non‐invasive physical modality, could reprogram the TME through modulation of TAMs and ...

Optimal Treatment for Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor of the Hand
This review examines the following aspects of tenosynovial giant cell tumors (TSGCTs): the use of multiple names, the complex relationship between tumor growth pattern and location, the high rate of postoperative recurrence, local invasiveness, use of nonsurgical therapy with molecularly targeted drugs, and best current treatments.

Abstract Background Tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT) is a locally aggressive neoplasm caused by dysregulation of the colony‐stimulating factor 1 (CSF1) gene. Patients report substantial pain, stiffness, and declining physical function; those whose disease is not amenable to surgery require systemic therapy.

ABSTRACT Background Diffuse‐type tenosynovial giant cell tumor (D‐TGCT) is an uncommon synovial neoplasm. Hip involvement is rare and may be difficult to recognize because symptoms are nonspecific and osseous erosion can mimic more aggressive infectious, inflammatory, or neoplastic processes.

Tissue‐Resident Macrophage in Inflammation and Cancer
Opposing macrophage functions in inflammation and cancer converge on shared mechanistic nodes, informing cross‐disease therapeutic strategies. ABSTRACT Tissue‐resident macrophages (TRMs) are long‐lived immune cells strategically distributed across organs, where their functional plasticity enables both homeostatic maintenance and pathological ...
