Mycobacterium heckeshornense tenosynovitis

Infectious Tenosynovitis in Cattle

SUMMARY Six cattle with infectious tenosynovitis were examined. Infection was manifested by marked distention of the affected tendon sheath as a result of formation of an excessive exudative synovial effusion, perithecal edema and fibrosis, reluctance to bear weight on the affected limb, and lameness.
