Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.

Unbraiding the braided tensor product
: We show that the braided tensor product algebra $A_1\underline{\otimes}A_2$ of two module algebras $A_1, A_2$ of a quasitriangular Hopf algebra $H$ is equal to the ordinary tensor product algebra of $A_1$ with a subalgebra of $A_1\underline{\otimes}A_2$

The tensor product of m-partition algebras as a centralizer algebra of
In this paper, we concentrate on the generalized Jones result in Kennedy and Jaish (2021) which says that [Formula: see text], the tensor product of m-partition algebras is a centralizer algebra of the action of the direct product of symmetric groups ...

Tensor ranks for the inversion of tensor-product binomials
The author proves that if a nonsingular matrix \(A\) of order \(n=pq\) is a tensor-product binomial with two factors then the tensor rank of \(A^{ - 1}\) is bounded from above by min\(\{p,q\}\). The estimate is sharp, and in the worst case it amounts to \(\sqrt n\).

Identified through the use of statistical design of experiments and metallographic investigation, this study exposes the stochastic origins of intergranular cracks in blown powder laser beam directed energy deposition additive manufacturing of pure molybdenum. It further demonstrates a successful crack mitigation approach with direct correlation to the

On the projection constants of some topological spaces and some applications
We find a lower estimation for the projection constant of the projective tensor product X⊗ ∧Y and the injective tensor product X⊗ ∨Y, we apply this estimation on some previous results, and we also introduce a new concept of the projection constants of ...

Bimodule structure of the mixed tensor product over Uqsℓ(2|1) and quantum walled Brauer algebra
We study a mixed tensor product 3⊗m⊗3‾⊗n of the three-dimensional fundamental representations of the Hopf algebra Uqsℓ(2|1), whenever q is not a root of unity.
