Parrondo’s Paradox for Tent Maps [PDF]
In this paper, we study the dynamic Parrondo’s paradox for the well-known family of tent maps. We prove that this paradox is impossible when we consider piecewise linear maps with constant slope.

Tent Map based Optimization Method
In the real life, some problems cannot be solved using mathematical methods. Meta-heuristic optimization methods are usually used to solve these problems.

The Unreasonable Effectiveness of the Chaotic Tent Map in Engineering Applications
From decimal expansion of real numbers to complex behaviour in physical, biological and human-made systems, deterministic chaos is ubiquitous. One of the simplest examples of a nonlinear dynamical system that exhibits chaos is the well known 1 ...

Attractors in Pattern Iterations of Flat Top Tent Maps
Flat-topped one-dimensional maps have been used in the control of chaos in one-dimensional dynamical systems. In these applications, this mechanism is known as simple limiter control.

Even symmetric chaotic and skewed maps as a technique in video encryption
The massive growth and use of digital multimedia through computer networks, including video and images, have increased the demand for protecting this digital data. To secure digital video, video encryption is frequently utilized.

Mapped Tent Pitching Schemes for Hyperbolic Systems [PDF]
A spacetime domain can be progressively meshed by tent shaped objects. Numerical methods for solving hyperbolic systems using such tent meshes to advance in time have been proposed previously. Such schemes have the ability to advance in time by different amounts at different spatial locations.

Statistical Analysis of Multiple Access Interference in Chaotic Spreading Sequence Based DS-CDMA Systems [PDF]
This paper presents a statistical analysis of multiple access interference (MAI) in Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) communication systems based on different types of chaotic spreading sequences. The probability distribution of the

Perceptual accessible image encryption scheme conjugating multiple chaotic maps
In the recent decade, chaos‐based image encryption algorithms gained attention due to their pros and cons. The authors suggest one such algorithm of image encryption for different colour space using feed forward initial condition to pursue random ...
