Depletion‐assisted multiplexed cell‐free RNA sequencing reveals distinct human and microbial signatures in plasma versus extracellular vesicles

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2024.
DETECTOR‐seq (depletion‐assisted multiplexed cell‐free total RNA sequencing) enabled efficient and specific depletion of sequences derived from fragmented ribosomal and mitochondrial RNAs in plasma. Distinct human and microbial cell‐free RNA (cfRNA) signatures in whole Plasma versus extracellular vesicles (EVs) were revealed.

Identification and RNA Binding Characterization of Plant Virus RNA Silencing Suppressor Proteins

open access: yes, 2013
Suppression is a common mechanism employed by viruses to evade the antiviral effects of the host’s RNA silencing pathway. The activity of suppression has commonly been localized to gene products in the virus, but the variety of mechanisms used in ...

Plasmodesmata‐associated Flotillin positively regulates broad‐spectrum virus cell‐to‐cell trafficking

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 22, Issue 5, Page 1387-1401, May 2024.
Summary Viral diseases seriously threaten rice production. Plasmodesmata (PD)‐associated proteins are deemed to play a key role in viral infection in host plants. However, few PD‐associated proteins have been discovered in rice to afford viral infection.

Az RNS silencing mechanizmusának vizsgálata állati és növényi modelleken = Mechanism of RNS silencing in animal and plant model organism [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A Cymbidium ringspot vírussal fertőzött növényekből származó kis RNS-ek analízise során azt találtuk, hogy a virális kis RNS-ek a genom kitüntetett helyeiről keletkeznek és a a virális kis RNS-ek 80%-a a pozitív, 20%-a a negatív szálról képződik.

Integrated ATAC‐seq and RNA‐seq data analysis identifies transcription factors related to rice stripe virus infection in Oryza sativa

open access: yesMolecular Plant Pathology, Volume 25, Issue 3, March 2024.
Changes in chromatin accessibility of rice infected by RSV were analysed by ATAC‐seq; four transcription factors (OsWRKY77, OsWRKY28, OsZFP12 and OsERF91) related to RSV infection were identified by integrating ATAC‐seq and RNA‐seq. Abstract Animal studies have shown that virus infection causes changes in host chromatin accessibility, but little is ...

Az RNS silencing szerepe, mechanizmusa a vírus gazda kölcsönhatásban = The role and the mechanism of RNA silencing in the plant virus interplay [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Az RNS silencing, egy géninaktivációs mechanizmus, amely szinte az összes eukarióta szervezetben működik. Kutatásaink során feltártuk a Cymbidium ringspot vírus genomról kéződő small interferáló (si) RNS eredetét nagy hatékonyságú 454 (Life Science) és ...

The ecology of tropical plant viruses [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
In recent decades ecology has become one of the dominant themes of the biological sciences. However, this has not always been so as the subject emerged from the specialist study of plant and animal communities in natural habitats that were often remote ...

Detection of rice grassy stunt tenuivirus nonstructural proteins p2, p5 and p6 from infected rice plants and from viruliferous brown planthoppers [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Virology, 2002
The genome of Rice grassy stunt virus (RGSV) consists of 6 ambisense RNA segments, among which RNAs 1, 2, 5 and 6 are equivalent to RNAs 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively, of Rice stripe virus, the type species of the genus Tenuivirus. The RGSV 36-kDa nucleocapsid protein (N) is encoded on the complementary strand of RNA 5.
