Defect‐Engineered Multi‐Intermetallic Heterostructures as Multisite Electrocatalysts for Efficient Water Splitting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A self‐supporting nanoporous multicomponent CoCuMoNi catalyst is synthesized. Through the synergistic effect of multiphase interfaces, built‐in electric fields, and defect engineering, the binding energy of key reaction intermediates in hydrogen evolution reaction (HER)/oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is modulated, achieving high activity and stability

Cryo‐Exfoliation Synthesis of Borophene and its Application in Wearable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This article introduces a novel cryo‐exfoliation method for synthesizing borophene, utilizing rapid quenching with liquid nitrogen and mild sonication to achieve scalable, high‐purity nanosheets. The study explores advanced characterizations, molecular dynamics simulations, and borophene‐based nanocomposites for wearable electronics, demonstrating its ...

Mn3SnN‐Based Antiferromagnetic Tunnel Junction with Giant Tunneling Magnetoresistance and Multi‐States: Design and Theoretical Validation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A non‐collinear Mn3SnN/SrTiO3/Mn3SnN (001) AFMTJ is proposed with a theoretical TMR exceeding 1500%, enabled by optimal momentum (k)‐space matching between Mn3SnN's spin‐polarized Fermi surface (pk||${p}_{{\bm{k}}_{\mathbf{|}\mathbf{|}}}$) and the low‐decay‐rate (κk||${\kappa}_{{\bm{k}}_{\mathbf{|}\mathbf{|}}}$) of the SrTiO3 barrier.

Designing Spin Symmetry for Altermagnetism with Strong Magnetoelectric Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antiferromagnets can be induced into altermagnets by changing the real‐space symmetry, increasing their potential for use in spintronic devices. Here, a novel and general approach is proposed: transforming antiferromagnets into altermagnets by modulating spin‐space symmetry, rather than real‐space symmetry.
