Trigger of twin‐fights in captive common marmosets

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Primatology, Volume 85, Issue 9, September 2023., 2023
The figure represents the relationships between the interbirth‐interval (IBI) and days postpartum under the birth‐controlled condition (BCC, closed circles) and under the uncontrolled condition (UCC, open circles), clearly indicating the linear relationships of two parameters and bimodal distribution of the birth control treatments.

Modelling ecological communities when composition is manipulated experimentally

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, Volume 14, Issue 2, Page 696-707, February 2023., 2023
Abstract In an experimental setting, the composition of ecological communities can be manipulated directly. Starting from a pool of n species, it is possible to co‐culture species in different combinations, ranging from monocultures, to pairs, and all the way up to the full species pool.

Genetic decline and recovery of a demographically rebuilt fishery species

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 31, Issue 22, Page 5684-5698, November 2022., 2022
Abstract The demographic history of a population is important for conservation and evolution, but this history is unknown for many populations. Methods that use genomic data have been developed to infer demography, but they can be challenging to implement and interpret, particularly for large populations.

Amphibian diversity in the Amazonian floating meadows: a Hanski core‐satellite species system

open access: yesEcography, Volume 44, Issue 9, Page 1325-1340, September 2021., 2021
The Amazon catchment is the largest river basin on earth, and up to 30% of its waters flow across floodplains. In its open waters, floating plants known as floating meadows abound. They can act as vectors of dispersal for their associated fauna and, therefore, can be important for the spatial structure of communities.

The Relative Influence of Age Structure, Predation, and Temperature on Stock–Recruitment Dynamics: A Case Study of Southern New England/Mid‐Atlantic Winter Flounder

open access: yesMarine and Coastal Fisheries, Volume 13, Issue 5, Page 583-599, October 2021., 2021
Abstract Stock size estimates used in stock–recruitment models often assume that reproductive output per individual is equal despite evidence that larger, older spawners contribute diverse spawning behaviors and disproportionately more to reproductive output.
