The Tercentenary of Lope de Vega in Italy
The 300th anniversary of Lope de Vega’s death was celebrated in 1935. This paper presents the participation of Italian hispanists as well as the impact of its celebration in Italy. The research makes reference to publications, conferences and, especially, to the programme designed by the Italian commission created for the celebration.
