Eco‐Friendly and Economical Approach for Immobilization of Thermostable ω‐Transaminase

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2026.
This work presents immobilization of thermostable ω‐Transaminase on diatomaceous earth using eco‐friendly Fe3+‐tannic acid complexes. The immobilized enzyme retains optimal activity and preserves over half its activity after repeated cycles, offering a simple, economical immobilization strategy for industrial biocatalysis.
