RBD‐SD1 Nanoparticle Vaccines From DPP4‐Using Merbecoviruses Elicit a Cross‐Reactive Antibody Response but Limited Cross‐Protective Immunity

SpyCatcher‐mi3 nanoparticles displaying RBD‐SD1 from MERS‐CoV, NL140422, and HKU4 elicited robust and cross‐reactive IgG responses in mice. Only MERS‐CoV RBD‐SD1 induced neutralizing antibodies against MERS‐CoV and protected human DPP4 mice from a MERS‐CoV challenge, indicating conserved serologic but limited cross‐neutralizing epitopes.

Evaluating Transcriptomic Biomarkers for rHuEPO Detection: Assessing the Impact of Exercise and Altitude Exposure

Drug Testing and Analysis, EarlyView.
A two‐stage transcriptomic filter comparing rHuEPO, exercise and altitude responses reduced 153 candidate genes to 50 that were unaffected by physiological stimuli. These retained transcripts offer focused biomarker leads to strengthen antidoping detection of rHuEPO.

A novel organic–inorganic YSZ@PANI/SnS2 composite nanofiber film was prepared via an in‐situ construction strategy of a PANI interfacial layer. The biomimetic "branch‐leaf" structure effectively disperses and releases stress and energy, while accelerating gas diffusion/transport and providing abundant active sites.
