Optimal dividend problem with a terminal value for spectrally positive Lévy processes [PDF]

open access: yesInsurance: Mathematics and Economics, 2013
In this paper we consider a modified version of the classical optimal dividends problem of de Finetti in which the dividend payments subject to a penalty at ruin. We assume that the risk process is modeled by a general spectrally positive Levy process before dividends are deducted.

LINEAR PROGRAMMING AND DYNAMICS

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal, 2015
In a Hilbert space we consider the linear boundary value problem of optimal control based on the linear dynamics and the terminal linear programming problem at the right end of the time interval.

Terminal value problem for a generalized fractional ordinary differential equation [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2020
The present work is concerned with the well‐posedness and efficient numerical algorithm for a terminal value problem with a generalized Caputo fractional derivative. We investigate the existence and uniqueness of the solution of the terminal value problem and consider the continuous dependence of the solutions on the given data.

Finitely-valued Terminal Zeroing Neural Networks with Application to Robotic Motion Planning [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
To solve the problem of time-varying quadratic programming with equality constraints, this paper proposes a finitely-valued terminal zeroing neural network achieving the finite-time convergence of computing errors while being easy to implement. The ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Design of Scheduling Table Optimization Algorithm Based on Greedy Thought [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2018
When Time-Triggered Ethernet(TTE) use Time-Triggered Rate Monotonic Scheduling(TT-RMS) algorithm to generate communication schedules, there is a problem that RC messages cannot arrive at the destination terminal within the maximum delay, and TT messages ...

Terminal value problem for causal differential equations with a Caputofractional derivative

open access: yesTURKISH JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS, 2017
Summary: In this paper, we give new definitions and obtain the unique solution of a fractional causal terminal value problem by combining the technique of generalized quasilinearization in the sense of upper and lower solutions.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.
