Dual gradient method for ill-posed problems using multiple repeated measurement data [PDF]
We consider determining $\R$-minimizing solutions of linear ill-posed problems $A x = y$, where $A: {\mathscr X} \to {\mathscr Y}$ is a bounded linear operator from a Banach space ${\mathscr X}$ to a Hilbert space ${\mathscr Y}$ and ${\mathcal R}: {\mathscr X} \to [0, \infty]$ is a proper strongly convex penalty function.

Unraveling Mycobacterium tuberculosis acid resistance and pH homeostasis mechanisms
Mycobacterium tuberculosis exhibits a remarkable resilience to acid stress. In this Review, we discuss some of the molecular mechanisms and metabolic pathways used by the tubercle bacilli to adapt and resist host‐mediated acid stress. Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is a successful pathogen that has developed a variety of strategies to survive and ...

Quenching of the quantum Hall effect in graphene with scrolled edges [PDF]
Edge nanoscrolls are shown to strongly influence transport properties of suspended graphene in the quantum Hall regime. The relatively long arc length of the scrolls in combination with their compact transverse size results in formation of many nonchiral transport channels in the scrolls.

In lymphoid organs, antigen recognition and B cell receptor signaling rely on integrins and the cytoskeleton. Integrins act as mechanoreceptors, couple B cell receptor activation to cytoskeletal remodeling, and support immune synapse formation as well as antigen extraction.

Background: Studies on age-related differences in preferences for end-of-life (EOL) care have generally concluded that increasing age predisposes patients to prefer less aggressive EOL care. However, these studies seldom are adjusted for healthcare needs,

Crosstalk between gut microbiota and tumor: tumors could cause gut dysbiosis and metabolic imbalance
In this research, we analyzed the relationship between gut microbiota and tumor. We discovered that both subcutaneous and metastatic tumors would alter the composition and metabolic function of gut microbiota. Meanwhile, fecal microbiota transplantation also indicated the anti‐tumor role of the gut microbiota, revealing the crosstalk between tumor and ...
