Broadband, Flexible, Skin‐Compatible Carbon Dots/Graphene Photodetectors for Wearable Applications
Broadband, flexible photodetectors integrating nitrogen‐rich carbon dots with single‐layer graphene on plastic substrates are demonstrated. A biocompatible chitosan–glycerol electrolyte enables efficient low‐voltage gating and on‐skin operation. The devices exhibit ultraviolet‐to‐near‐infrared response, mechanical robustness under bending, and verified

First-Principles Study of Electronic and Vibrational Properties of BaHfN$_2$
The transition metal nitride BaHfN$_2$, which consists of weakly bonded neutral slabs of closed shell ions, has structural and chemical similarities to other layered nitrides which have impressive superconducting T$_c$ when electron doped: A$_x$HfNCl, A ...

In this study, we produced HfN‐based nanoparticles via femtosecond laser ablation in acetone. The nanoparticles exhibit a red‐shifted plasmonic resonance in the NIR‐I window, colloidal stability after coating with polyethyleneglycol, and excellent biocompatibility. The photothermal and X‐ray sensitization therapeutic effects were demonstrated for tumor

Recent advances in ternary Z-scheme photocatalysis on graphitic carbon nitride based photocatalysts
Due to its excellent photocatalytic performance over the last few years, graphitic-like carbon nitride (g-C3N4) has garnered considerable notice as a photocatalyst. Nevertheless, several limitations, including small surface area, the rates at which photo-

Band-edge diagrams for strained III-V semiconductor quantum wells, wires, and dots
We have calculated band-edge energies for most combinations of zincblende AlN, GaN, InN, GaP, GaAs, InP, InAs, GaSb and InSb in which one material is strained to the other.

Metallofullerenol Sc3N@C80(OH)18 demonstrates strong radioprotective properties as a scavenger of both short‐ and long‐lived radicals. The study reveals protection of human erythrocytes from γ‐radiation–induced biochemical damage via post‐irradiation removal of primary and secondary reactive oxidants, supported by pulse radiolysis kinetics.
