Nocturnal Intraocular Pressure Monitoring With a Soft Contact Lens Sensor for Glaucoma Management

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A soft contact lens sensor enables continuous, noninvasive monitoring of nocturnal intraocular pressure (IOP) under closed‐eye sleep conditions. By integrating a highly compliant inductive–capacitive circuit onto a commercial lens, the device achieves record sensitivity and stable performance.

Assimilation of terrestrial water storage from GRACE in a snow‐dominated basin [PDF]

open access: yesWater Resources Research, 2012
Terrestrial water storage (TWS) information derived from gravity recovery and climate experiment (GRACE) measurements is assimilated into a land surface model over the Mackenzie River basin located in northwest Canada. Assimilation is conducted using an ensemble Kalman smoother (EnKS).

Can Terrestrial Water Storage Dynamics be Estimated From Climate Anomalies?

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, 2020
Freshwater stored on land is an extremely vital resource for all the terrestrial life on Earth. But our ability to record the change of land water storage is weak despite its importance.

Amplitude Modulation of Seasonal Variability in Terrestrial Water Storage

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, 2019
AbstractVariability in climate and weather in many land regions is dominated by a seasonal cycle that is typically defined by as a stable, repeated pattern. Defining the annual cycle as strictly stationary, however, precludes the possibility of changes in its amplitude from one year to the next. In this study, we target and extract the modulated annual
