Functional Testing of Microprocessors

IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1984
Summary: This paper presents a new and systematic method to generate tests for microprocessors. A functional level model for the microprocessor is used and it is represented by a reduced graph. A new and comprehensive model of the instruction execution process is developed.

Functional testing

Muscle & Nerve, 1990
Functional testing is useful to monitor the natural history of several neuromuscular disorders, and to measure the efficacy of therapeutic agents in clinical trials. A major limitation of functional testing is that a single test is often not appropriate throughout all stages of disease.

Functional program testing

The IEEE Computer Society's Second International Computer Software and Applications Conference, 1978. COMPSAC '78., 1980
An approach to functional testing is described in which the design of a program is viewed as an integrated collection of functions. The selection of test data depends on the functions used in the design and on the value spaces over which the functions are defined.

Tests of platelet function

Current Opinion in Hematology, 2007
Platelets play a vital role in the normal hemostasis, and derangements of their function can lead to hemorrhage or thrombosis. While we have made progress in elucidating the molecular mechanisms leading to platelet adhesion, aggregation, shape change, and secretion, clinically useful tests of platelet function have lagged behind.

Test of Testicular Function

JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1969
To the Editor:— The article by R. L. Landu on "Tests of Testicular Function" ( 207 :353, 1969) is incomplete and fails to recognize other observations and conditions deemed important in the assessment of male fertility. Samples should be obtained by masturbation and the days of continence noted. Semen samples preceded by a single day of continence may

Endothelial function testing

2006
It has been shown that the presence of well-preserved brachial artery vasoreactivity predicts the absence of coronary artery disease. The recent findings that coronary endothelial dysfunction is associated with an increased risk of stroke or transient ischemic attack in middle-aged patients without coronary artery disease support the concept that ...
