Treatment of testicular hydrocele with tetracycline sclerotherapy
International Urology and Nephrology, 1990Fifteen patients with primary hydrocele of the testis were treated by aspiration and injection of tetracycline. Only 5 patients (33.3%) were cured by a single injection of tetracycline. Furthermore, 46.6% of our patients experienced severe scrotal pain, three of whom required open surgery.

Ectopic Hydrocele After Testicular Transposition
Urology, 2016A 55-year-old man was treated for Fournier gangrene in 2004 with radical debridement and bilateral testicular transposition to the medial thighs. Eight years later, bilateral hydroceles formed. After conservative measures failed for treatment of the hydroceles, the condition was treated during desired testicular relocation, and creation of a neoscrotum.

Ethanolamine Oleate as a Sclerosant for Testicular Hydroceles and Epididymal Cysts
British Journal of Urology, 1988Summary— Forty patients with testicular hydroceles and 16 patients with epididymal cysts were treated by tapping and injection of ethanolamine oleate; 97.5% of the hydroceles and 31% of the epididymal cysts were completely cured, 50% of the latter partly cured and 19% failed.
