Targeted regulation of pyroptosis to modulate the immune landscape is a novel design strategy for cancer immunotherapy and anti‐inflammatory treatment. Pyroptosis, as a double‐edged sword, underscores the importance of optimizing the design strategy of functional materials and appropriately activating pyroptosis for the effective treatment of diseases.

The effect of low doses of cadmium and zinc chloride on the Blood-Testis Barrier of Sprague Dawley rats [PDF]
Background: Cadmium chloride is an environmental toxic that affects the male reproductive system. This study was directed 1) to evaluate whether long-term oral exposures to low doses of Cd in rats causes morphological changes, 2) the immunohistochemical TJ and AJ protein expression; and 3) to evidence that zinc exposure can modify Cd effects.

MAGEA6 Engages a YY1‐Dependent Transcription to Dictate Perineural Invasion in Colorectal Cancer
This study investigates the role of MAGEA6 in perineural invasion (PNI) in colorectal cancer (CRC). MAGEA6 promotes CRC invasiveness by inhibiting YY1 ubiquitination, enhancing CXCL1 secretion, and recruiting Schwann cells. These findings highlight the potential of targeting the MAGEA6/YY1/CXCL1 axis for therapeutic strategies against PNI and tumor ...

Autogenous self‐healing of concrete: Experimental design and test methodsA review
Concrete exhibits an intrinsic ability to heal cracks, defined as “autogenous self‐healing.” However, despite code restrictions, autogenous self‐healing of concrete shows limited effectiveness in practice. This indicates the need for further research to provide engineers with reliable design rules.

The onset of cluster formation around Herbig Ae/Be stars [PDF]
The large body of near infrared observations presented in Testi et al. (1997; 1998) are analysed with the aim of characterizing the young stellar clusters surrounding Herbig Ae/Be stars. The results confirm the tendency of early Be stars to be surrounded by dense clusters of lower mass "companions", while Ae stars are never found to be associated with ...

PAX7 expression defines germline stem cells in the adult testis.
Spermatogenesis is a complex, multistep process that maintains male fertility and is sustained by rare germline stem cells. Spermatogenic progression begins with spermatogonia, populations of which express distinct markers.

This work maps 3′‐UTR APA across mouse fetal development and tissues, identifying conserved sequence determinants that influence pAS choice. In fetal brain tissues, complex APA dynamics during development are potentially regulated by RBPs like Rbm38, which restrict distal pAS usage.

Abstract Temperature has a profound effect on the growth and development of ectothermic animals. However, the extent to which ecologically driven selection pressures can adjust thermal plastic responses in growth schedules is not well understood. Comparing temperature‐induced plastic responses between sexes provides a promising but underexploited ...
