Revision of the genus Pseudobryobia McGregor, 1950 (Acari, Tetranychidae) [PDF]
The species of the tetranychid mite genus Pseudobryobia are revised mainly based on data published in the literature. Following a survey of the classification history of the genus, emphasizing the changes that occurred in the morphological characters used in its definition, we briefly discuss their relative importance for the genus delimitation.

The study shows ancestral dietary restriction in Phytoseiulus persimilis produces persistent, sex‐specific, multi‐generational effects on survival and body size, with stronger maternal than paternal lineage influences despite nutritional recovery. Abstract BACKGROUND Transgenerational phenotypic plasticity (TGP) allows environmental effects to persist ...

Notes on the adaptation of some phytophagous and predacious mites to various ecological parameters in the Mediterranean countries [PDF]
Notes on the adaptation to various habitats, climatic conditions, life-cycles, dispersion as well as on some morpho-physiological ones of the main phytophagous (Tetranychidae and Eriophyidae) and predaceous (Phytoseiidae) mites typical of the ...

Light‐emitting diode (LED)‐based treatments for enhancing crop production and pest management have primarily focused on continuous treatments. This study, using Tetranychus urticae and Phytoseiulus persimilis, demonstrates that the timing of LED supplementation is crucial for designing integrated pest management strategies that improve both plant ...

This study identifies melon genotypes resistant to Bemisia tabaci by integrating morphological and biochemical leaf traits. Using free‐choice and no‐choice assays, we demonstrate that resistance is primarily mediated by antixenosis. Genotypes CNPH 11‐1071‐43, CNPH 06‐1047‐343, CNPH 13‐1076, and BG MEL 16 significantly reduced whitefly settling and ...
