Aspectos biológicos de Tetranychus ludeni Zacher, 1913 (Acari: Tetranychidae) alimentados com folhas de batata-doce pulverizadas com o 2,4-D

open access: yesArquivos do Instituto Biológico, 2018
RESUMO: Batata-doce [Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.] apresenta grande versatilidade de usos no Brasil. Com a ampliação das áreas de cultivo, essa espécie estará sujeita à contaminação por herbicidas.

The complete mitochondrial genomes of six species of Tetranychus provide insights into the phylogeny and evolution of spider mites. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
Many spider mites belonging to the genus Tetranychus are of agronomical importance. With limited morphological characters, Tetranychus mites are usually identified by a combination of morphological characteristics and molecular diagnostics.

Genetic and phenotypic variation between Tetranychus ludeni populations from Benelux

open access: yes
Abstract The occurrence of the bean spider mite,Tetranychus ludeni, in The Netherlands and Belgium is reported here for the first time. Mite populations were collected from the field and established in the laboratory. Morphological and genetic analyses were performed to determine the species identity of multiple field-collected individuals.

Commodity risk assessment of Malus domestica plants from Bosnia and Herzegovina. [PDF]

open access: yesEFSA J, 2023
Abstract The European Commission requested the EFSA Panel on Plant Health to prepare and deliver risk assessments for commodities listed in Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/2019 as ‘High‐risk plants, plant products and other objects’. This Scientific Opinion covers plant health risks posed by bare root plants of Malus domestica grafted on ...

open access: yesPesticidi i Fitomedicina, 2023
The original published version of the article contained two errors: (1) In Table 1B: tomato was not indicated as a host plant for T. evansi (2) In Figure 1: After carefully looking at the previous drawings of T. ludeni body parts, we concluded that it is

The mitogenome of Halotydeus destructor (Tucker) and its relationships with other trombidiform mites as inferred from nucleotide sequences and gene arrangements. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol, 2021
We report the complete mitogenome sequence of the redlegged earth mite, Halotydeus destructor (Tucker). We used Bayesian phylogenetic analyses to contextualize the relationship of H. destructor with other trombidiform mites. Phylogenies were inferred from protein‐coding and rRNA genes using nucleotide sequences and a novel characterization of gene ...
