The growth of tetraoxane crystals from acetone solutions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Crystal Growth, 1980
Abstract The growth mechanism of tetraoxane whiskers is investigated. The defect arrangement in the crystal is examined by X-ray topography. Whiskers can grow in the absence of any axia 1 dislocations. The nature of the crystal-solution interfaces is discussed.

Synthesis and Antimalarial Activity of Sixteen Dispiro-1,2,4,5-tetraoxanes: Alkyl-Substituted 7,8,15,16-Tetraoxadispiro[5.2.5.2]hexadecanes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Sixteen alkyl-substituted dispiro-1,2,4,5-tetraoxanes (7,8,15,16-tetraoxadispiro[5.2.5.2]hexadecanes) were synthesized to explore dispiro-1,2,4,5-tetraoxane SAR and to identify tetraoxanes with better oral antimalarial activity than prototype tetraoxane ...
