Tetris

Proceedings of the 2007 ACM SIGPLAN/SIGBED conference on Languages, compilers, and tools for embedded systems, 2007
The run-time performance of VLIW (very long instruction word) microprocessors depends heavily on the effectiveness of its associated optimizing compiler. Typical VLIW compiler phases include instruction scheduling, which maximizes instruction level parallelism (ILP), and register allocation, which minimizes data spills to external memory.

Molecular tetris

Proceedings of the Seventh International Conference on Motion in Games, 2014
Many biological processes, including immune recognition, enzyme catalysis, and molecular signaling, which is still an open problem in biological sciences. We present Molecular Tetris, a game in which a player can explore the binding between a protein receptor and ligand.

Swarm Tetris: Applying particle swarm optimization to tetris

IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation, 2010
This paper investigates the applicability of swarm-based algorithms to the game of Tetris. This work proposes an approach to the problem in which neural network weight values are optimized using a particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. Such an approach has not previously been demonstrated as feasible for Tetris.

Enhanced Tetris Legalization

Proceedings of the SouthEast European Design Automation, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks and Social Media Conference, 2016
Legalization and detailed placement methods for standard cell designs, are two of the most notable topics in current VLSI research. Being the final steps in a classic placement procedure they must be efficient in terms of the delay overhead they introduce to the overall design flow and the quality of the final solution.

Tangible Tetris

Leonardo, 2019
Tangible Tetris is a mixed-reality interactive game allowing play with a physical transformable tetromino in a virtual playfield. The extension from game world to the physical brings plenty of new characteristics, strategies and fun to the classic game, as well as more possibilities in interactive art.

Nand to Tetris

Proceedings of the 49th ACM Technical Symposium on Computer Science Education, 2018
We present a full semester course in which students build a complete computer system - hardware and software - from the ground up. Also known as "Nand to Tetris", the course is presently taught at 100+ universities, and is listed in Coursera's top-rated courses.

Hiding data in Tetris

2011 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics, 2011
Many kinds of data hiding methods using different cover media have been proposed, several papers use games to do steganography recently. Tetris is a famous puzzle game, and this game randomly generates the tetrominoes pieces to the player. In this paper, we proposed a steganography system for the Tetris game through the generated tetromino sequences. A
