Criterion for the electrical resonance stability of offshore wind power plants connected through HVDC links [PDF]
Electrical resonances may compromise the stability of HVDC-connected Offshore Wind Power Plants (OWPPs). In particular, an offshore HVDC converter can reduce the damping of an OWPP at low frequency series resonances, leading to system instability.

Ferromagnetically Shielded Fault Current Limiter (FS‐FCL) Evaluation in Power Line
This study introduces a new ferromagnetically shielded FS‐FCL design and its control strategy for limiting and interrupting fault currents. The fully shielded core structure enhances inductance and prevents saturation, enabling an immediate fault response without causing voltage drop during normal conditions.

Performance Analysis of a Single-Diode Photovoltaic Model Based on a Thevenin’s Equivalent Circuit
This article proposes a linear Thevenin's equivalent circuit for a single-diode model. The Thevenin's equivalent circuit is derived based on the piecewise linearization for the nonlinear characteristic of the diode.

Stability and Synchronization of MMC‐HVDC Systems Using SRF and Inertia‐Based PLLs
This study investigates the influence of synchronous reference frame PLL (SRF‐PLL) and the inertia PLL (IPLL) on the stability of grid‐connected modular multilevel converter high voltage direct current (MMC‐HVDC) systems. The findings highlight intrinsic stability limitations of PLL‐based systems, offering insights toward more stable, PLL‐less ...
