Aquaculture, 1974Abstract A study of blade growth in Thalassia testudinum has been carried out in order to evaluate the production potential of this seagrass in Jamaica. Summer and winter values of day length and water temperature differ by 2 h and 2.5°C respectively, and monthly variation in the growth rates of Thalassia shoots is small.
