Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

MGP: Multi-Stage Grouped Probe Detection for Fault Localization in Vehicle-to-Ground Communication Networks

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Vehicular Technology
The Vehicle-to-Ground (V2G) emergency communication network is a dedicated network established to respond to emergencies, such as natural disasters and traffic accidents, and it plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and smooth operation of vehicles ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Effect of remimazolam on inflammatory reaction after ureteroscopic lithotripsy: a randomised controlled trial

open access: yesBMC Anesthesiology
Background Ureteral stone lithotripsy may cause a strong inflammatory response and may be associated with patient outcomes. In clinical practice, remimazolam has been widely used for induction and maintenance of general anesthesia.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

In Lower‐Grade Gliomas, the SPARC Family Exacerbates Prognosis by Influencing Immunity, Stemness, and Metabolism

open access: yesCancer Reports
Background Involvement of the SPARC stromal protein family in crucial biological regulatory mechanisms is well‐documented. But understanding the consequences of imbalanced SPARC protein activity in lower‐grade glioma (LGG) is still emerging.
