A Survey on Operator Monotonicity, Operator Convexity, and Operator Means [PDF]
This paper is an expository devoted to an important class of real-valued functions introduced by Löwner, namely, operator monotone functions. This concept is closely related to operator convex/concave functions. Various characterizations for such functions are given from the viewpoint of differential analysis in terms of matrix of divided differences ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Aggregation operators based on indistinguishability operators
This article gives a new approach to aggregating assuming that there is an indistinguishability operator or similarity defined on the universe of discourse. The very simple idea is that when we want to aggregate two values a and b we are looking for a value l that is as similar to a as to b or, in a more logical language, the degrees of equivalence of ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Characteristic Analysis and Modeling of Train-to-Train Wireless Channel in Station Scenario
In this paper, ray tracing (RT) is used to analyze the characteristics of train-to-train (T2T) wireless channel in 2.1 GHz frequency band, including path loss, multipath clustering, delay spread, Rice factor, angular spread, and channel nonstationarity ...

On Integral Operators with Operator-Valued Kernels [PDF]
Here Lq-Lp boundedness of integral operator with operator-valued kernels is studied and the main result is applied to convolution operators. Using these results Besov space regularity for Fourier multiplier operator is established.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
