Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

A Convergent Approximation of the Pareto Optimal Set for Finite Horizon Multiobjective Optimal Control Problems (MOC) Using Viability Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The objective of this paper is to provide a convergent numerical approximation of the Pareto optimal set for finite-horizon multiobjective optimal control problems for which the objective space is not necessarily convex.

Efficient Screening of Organic Singlet Fission Molecules Using Graph Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐throughput screening framework based on graph neural networks (GNNs) and multi‐level validation facilitates the identification of singlet fission (SF) candidates. By efficiently predicting excitation energies across 20 million molecules, and integrating TDDFT calculations, synthetic accessibility assessments, and GW+BSE calculations, this ...

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Roadmap for High‐Throughput Ceramic Materials Synthesis and Discovery for Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This work examines ceramic synthesis through the lens of high‐throughput synthesis and optimization, identifying opportunities for faster, adaptable routes. It emphasizes flexible liquid precursor–to–solid film methods over slower solid‐state approaches and highlights computer‐aided decision making to optimize both material properties and device ...

Existence and Nash Implementation of Efficient Sharing Rules for a Commonly Owned Technology [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Suppose that a group of individuals owns collectively a technology which produces a consumption good by means of a (possibly heterogeneous) input. A sharing rule associates input contributions with a vector of consumptions that are technologically ...

FINDING OF OPTIMAL SUBSET STRUCTURE IN THE KNAPSACK PROBLEM

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
An algorithm for solving the knapsack problem based on the proposed multi-criteria model is considered. The implementation of this algorithm allows to define the structure of the optimal subset as a union of certain elements of a Pareto layers group into
