Development of the Capacitated Maximal Covering Location Problem (CMCLP) Model in Determining the Location and Type of Distribution Center

open access: yesOPSI, 2022
Facility location decision making is necessary for both the public and private sectors for optimum utilization of resources. While the private sector may locate facilities to maximize profit or minimize cost, the public sector aims at providing services ...

Internet gaming disorder, psychological distress, and insomnia in adolescent students and their siblings: An actor-partner interdependence model approach

open access: yesAddictive Behaviors Reports, 2021
Background: Associations between internet gaming disorder (IGD), psychological distress, and sleep have been reported. However, little is known whether such associations exist across siblings; that is, whether adolescents’ IGD symptomatology may impact ...

Algebraic particular integrals, integrability and the problem of the center [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1993
In this work we clarify the global geometrical phenomena corresponding to the notion of center for plane quadratic vector fields. We first show the key role played by the algebraic particular integrals of degrees less than or equal to three in the theory of the center: these curves control the changes in the systems as parameters vary.

The center problem for the class of $$\varLambda -\varOmega $$ differential systems [PDF]

open access: yesRendiconti del Circolo Matematico di Palermo Series 2, 2020
The article deals with planar analytical and polynomial differential systems having a weak center at the origin. The center is called weak if the first Poincaré-Lyapunov integral of the system can be written as \(H=1/2\left(x^{2} +y^{2} \right)\left(1+\mathrm{h.o.t.}\right)\). In [\textit{M. A. M. Calculation of the relativistic Bethe logarithm in the two-center problem

open access: yes, 2013
We present a variational approach to evaluate relativistic corrections of order \alpha^2 to the Bethe logarithm for the ground electronic state of the Coulomb two center problem.

The problem of the center for cubic differential systems with two affine non-parallel invariant straight lines of total multiplicity three

open access: yesActa et Commentationes: Ştiinţe Exacte şi ale Naturii
In this paper, we show that a center-focus critical point of cubic differential systems with two affine non-parallel invariant straight lines of total multiplicity three is a center type if and only if the first five Lyapunov quantities vanish.

The problem of refusal from immunodiagnosis of tuberculosis: results of a multi-center sociological study

open access: yesТуберкулез и болезни лёгких, 2020
The objective: to study the reasons for the refusal of legally authorized representatives of children to conduct mass immunodiagnosis of tuberculosis using a representative sample of population and to outline possible ways to change this negative ...
