Characteristics and Energy Distribution of Blast-Induced Ground Vibration in Deep-Hole Blasting
This study proposes an incremental extreme extraction method based on the waveform characteristics of ground vibration signals obtained from open-pit mines to investigate the distribution and characteristics of ground vibration from deep-hole blasting ...

Experimental analysis of the pressure–velocity correlations of external unsteady flow over rocket launchers [PDF]
Based on simultaneous wall pressure and velocity measurements, the aerodynamic load of a launcher body model is investigated. Two different configurations are considered in order to study the influence of geometrical artifacts on the after body flow and ...

New Technology – Demonstration of a Vector Velocity Technique [PDF]
With conventional Doppler ultrasound it is not possible to estimate direction and velocity of blood flow, when the angle of insonation exceeds 60-70°. Transverse oscillation is an angle independent vector velocity technique which is now implemented on a conventional ultrasound scanner.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

The process of internalization of the Shiga toxin A subunit via formation of a complex with the Shiga toxin B subunit, which specifically binds to the Gb3 receptor. The peptide is designed to act as a carrier of drugs into cancer cells. Here, we explored the potential of peptides derived from the catalytic A subunit of Shiga toxin (STxA) to be drug ...

Real-Time Navigation of Nonholonomic Mobile Robots under Velocity Vector Control
In this paper, linear navigation law is studied in depth and we suggest an efficient, practical and simple approach for nonholonomic mobile robot navigation under velocity vector control based on the linear navigation law.
