Abstract Material flow analyses (MFAs) are powerful tools for highlighting resource efficiency opportunities in supply chains. MFAs are often represented as directed graphs, with nodes denoting processes and edges representing mass flows. However, network structure uncertainty—uncertainty in the presence or absence of flows between nodes—is common and ...

Ore's theorem on subfactor planar algebras
This article proves that an irreducible subfactor planar algebra with a distributive biprojection lattice admits a minimal 2-box projection generating the identity biprojection.

Is every product system concrete?
Abstract Is every product system of Hilbert spaces over a semigroup P$P$ concrete, that is, isomorphic to the product system of an E0$E_0$‐semigroup over P$P$? The answer is no if P$P$ is discrete, cancellative and does not embed in a group. However, we show that the answer is yes for a reasonable class of semigroups.

Dual Ore's theorem for distributive intervals of small index
This paper proves a dual version of a theorem of Oystein Ore for every distributive interval of finite groups [H,G] of index |G:H|<9720, and for every boolean interval of rank <7. It has applications to representation theory for every finite group.

Invisibility and cloaking structures as weak or strong solutions of Devaney-Wolf theorem
Inspired by a general theorem on non-radiating sources demonstrated by Devaney and Wolf, a unified theory for invisible and cloaking structures is here proposed. By solving Devaney-Wolf theorem in the quasi-static limit, a weak solution is obtained, demonstrating the existence of Anapole modes, Mantle Cloaking and Plasmonic Cloaking.
