This chapter performs an in-depth analysis of the literature on Business Cycles Synchronization showing its importance to currency unions, where members are not able to conduct monetary policies on their own. Moreover, it presents economic variables that are commonly used by the literature to study the synchronization of business cycles.

Modeling the literature of superstring theory: A case of fast literature
Scientometrics, 1992This paper used data generated in a previous study to model what can be termed fast literature. In this case, the literature of superstring theory was examined to determine if an anomalous case, such as superstring literature, might fit a theoretical distribution. Price's Index was examined and found not to fit the data.

Literature as Theory: Literature and Truths
2018This chapter analyses and questions a philosophical demotion of literature. It does so by proposing a new understanding of truth as not only declarative and conceptual but also relational and dialogical. It investigates and critiques some philosophical reductions of truth to what can be conceptually measured and assessed as declarations.
