Electromagnetic Radiation Stimulated Learning in Perovskite Nickelates
ABSTRACT Biological plasticity refers to the ability of synapses to strengthen or weaken over time. These adaptive properties play a fundamental role in learning and memory, spanning many orders of magnitude in timescales. Short‐term plasticity (STP) arises from rapid correlative activity, while long‐term plasticity (LTP) is governed by slower ...

A dynamic reconstruction strategy was utilized to construct PtCu/Cu3P heterostructures on the surface of self‐supporting Cu3P nanowires. The loose porosity in the restructured layer, together with a dynamic “dissolution‐redeposition” equilibrium during electrocatalysis, enables the electrode to maintain a low, stable overpotential for 240 h at ampere ...

FLEXIBILITY OF THEORY OF MIND IN A MATRIX GAME WHEN PARTNER'S LEVEL IS DIFFERENT [PDF]
The development of theory of mind (ToM) was investigated as flexibility of prediction and decision-making in matrix games with 202 13-, 16-, 19-, and 24-year-old participants.

Donor–acceptor asymmetry modulates conical‐intersection accessibility and topology in bridged stilbenes, providing mechanistic insight into excited‐state deactivation and aggregation‐induced emission (AIE). ABSTRACT A computation‐guided investigation of asymmetric donor–acceptor bridged stilbenes reveals structure–property relationships governing ...

An exciting Approach to Theoretical Spectroscopy
ABSTRACT Theoretical spectroscopy, and more generally, electronic‐structure theory, are powerful concepts for describing the complex many‐body interactions in materials. They cover methods from ground‐state properties to lattice excitations and light‐matter interaction, including time‐resolved variants.

A Systematic Review on the Association Between Bilingualism and Theory of Mind in Adulthood
Previous research on the relationship of bilingualism and theory of mind has largely focused on children. However, several recent studies of the theory of mind have found differences in theory of mind processing among older populations, namely adults ...

In psychiatry residency, we have a didactic within our curriculum that focuses on psychotherapy. This subject culminates in our third year when our program’s psychotherapy supervisor asks each of us to create our own personal theory. It allowed us to explore and apply what we had learned up until this point and formulate our own understanding of why ...

MIS12 Is Required for Kinetochore‐Microtubule Attachment in Oocyte Meiosis
A model depicting the role of MIS12 in K‐MT attachment during oocyte meiosis. The presence of MIS12 stabilizes bipolar K‐MT attachments by maintaining the function of NDC80 and its interaction with TUBB. This, in turn, promotes KNL1 assembly and subsequent SAC protein recruitment to kinetochores.
