Robust Electrocaloric Performance Enabled by Highly‐Polar Frustrated Nanodomains in NaNbO3‐Based Ferrodistortive Relaxor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
P4bm framework in NaNbO3‐Ba(Ti, Hf)O3 ferrodistortive relaxor entails short‐range and highly‐polar ferrodistortive orders. The abundant highly‐polar orders facilitate to increase entropy change, and robust octahedral oxygen tilt enables to impede thermal perturbations.

Shift operators and bilinear system theory

1978 IEEE Conference on Decision and Control including the 17th Symposium on Adaptive Processes, 1978
By using shift operators on linear spaces a theory of bilinear systems is presented. A restricted backward shift realization (RBSR) of a Volterra series input-output map is introduced. The RBSR is used to solve the bilinear realization problem. The RBSR is used to develop a theory of minimality for bilinear systems.
