INDO-FRENCH HIGH-RESOLUTION THERMAL INFRARED SPACE MISSION FOR EARTH NATURAL RESOURCES ASSESSMENT AND MONITORING – CONCEPT AND DEFINITION OF TRISHNA [PDF]
The Indian and French Space Agencies, ISRO and CNES, have conceptualized a space-borne Thermal Infrared Reflectance (TIR) mission, TRISHNA (Thermal infRared Imaging Satellite for High-resolution Natural Resource Assessment). The primary design drivers of

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Thermal Behavior and Infrared Absorbance Bands of Citric Acid
Citric acid is widely used in the Food and Pharmaceutical Industry. Various issues regarding its thermal behavior and infrared spectrum require clarification. Here, we studied citric acid monohydrate (raw, heated, freeze-dried and recrystallized from D2O)

Observation of bulk quadrupole in topological heat transport
The quantized bulk quadrupole moment has so far revealed a non-trivial boundary state with lower-dimensional topological edge states and in-gap zero-dimensional corner modes.

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

Lunar Calibration for ASTER VNIR and TIR with Observations of the Moon in 2003 and 2017
The Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER), which is a multiband pushbroom sensor suite onboard Terra, has successfully provided valuable multiband images for approximately 20 years since Terra’s launch in 1999 ...

Infrared emission bands and thermal effects for 440-nm-emitting GaN-based laser diodes
Broad emission bands due to defects in (In,Ga,Al)N laser diodes operating at 440 nm are investigated using continuous-wave and pulsed currents. In addition to known yellow–green and short-wave infrared bands, defect emissions were observed even in the ...
