Roto-Chemical Heating with Fall-Back Disk Accretion in the Neutron Stars Containing Quark Matter
Probing quark matter is one of the important tasks in the studies of neutron stars (NS). Some works explicitly consider the existence of quark matter in the appearance of hybrid star (HS) or pure quark star (QS).

The evolution of laminar thermals [PDF]
We consider the life cycle of an axisymmetric laminar thermal starting from the initial condition of a Gaussian buoyant blob. We find that, as time progresses, the thermal transitions through a number of distinct stages, undergoing several morphological changes before ending up as a vortex ring.

Whereas a straightforward link between crustal thinning and geothermal gradients during rifting is now well established, the thermal structure of sedimentary basins within hyperextended domains remains poorly documented.

Structure and Thermal Evolution of Exoplanetary Cores [PDF]
Abstract Most of the large rocky bodies in the solar system display evidence of past and/or current magnetic activity, driven by thermochemical convection in an electrically conducting fluid layer. The discovery of a large number of extrasolar planets motivates the search for magnetic fields beyond the solar ...

Structural and thermal evolution of the Karakoram crust
Prior to the Eocene (c. 50 Ma) collision of the Indian and Asian plates, the southern margin of Asia along the Karakoram plate was an Andean-type margin dominated by tonalitic-granodioritic magmatism of Jurassic––Lower Cretaceous age (Hushe gneiss, Muztagh Tower gneiss and K2 ortho-gneiss) and associated low pressure andalusite, staurolite

Mars thermal history based on its tectonic and structural systems [PDF]
We suggest an interpretation of the thermal history of Mars base on crustal deformations. Local deformations are associated with an increase of the thermal gradient with time and indicate tensional stresses in eruptive centers such as Alba Patera ...
