The groundwater flow system of Terme Alte (Alto Reno Terme, Bologna, Italy)

open access: yesAcque Sotterranee, 2020
The thermal field of Porretta Terme, located in the Alto Reno Terme municipality (Bologna), has always raised interest for its peculiar waters since ancient times. Indeed, the use of the springs dates back to the I-II century A.D. and perhaps even in the

Energy efficiency analysis of railway turnout heating system with a melting snow model heated by classic and contactless heating method [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Electrical Engineering, 2019
Maintaining railway turnout operability is crucial for ensuring railway transport safety. Electric heating of railway turnouts is a significant technical and economic issue. The classical heating is characterised by high power consumption.

Thermal field dynamics and bialgebras [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 1997
In thermal field dynamics, thermal states are obtained from restrictions of vacuum states on a doubled field algebra. It is shown that the suitably doubled Fock representations of the Heisenberg algebra do not need to be introduced by hand but can be canonically handed down from deformations of the extended Heisenberg bialgebra.

A Coupling Analysis of Multiphysical Field for ZnO Surge Arrester Installed in Photovoltaic Substation

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2022
Conventional finite element analysis(FEA) employed in multiphysical field coupling analysis usually suffers from such drawbacks as large computational effort and heavy reliance on grid quality.

Thermal Renormalons in Scalar Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
In the frame of the scalar theory $g \phi ^{4}$, we explore the occurrence of thermal renormalons, i. e. temperature dependent singularities in the Borel plane.
